Privacy Policy

At Striker, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you:

  • Create an account (name, email address, username)
  • Complete your profile (location, bio, avatar)
  • Participate in events or join clubs
  • Post content or interact with other users
  • Contact us for support
  • Subscribe to Striker Pro or make purchases

Payment and Subscription Data

When you subscribe to Striker Pro or make purchases, our payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe) handle your payment information directly. We do not store your full credit card number or payment credentials. We receive and store:

  • Subscription status and plan type
  • Billing period dates and renewal information
  • Transaction identifiers for purchase verification
  • Payment source (App Store, Google Play, or Stripe)

Shooting Sports Data

When you use our platform, we collect data related to your shooting sports activities:

  • Competition results and scores
  • Training session logs
  • Equipment and gear information
  • Club memberships and event registrations

Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect certain information when you access our platform:

  • Device information (type, operating system, browser)
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Usage data (pages visited, features used, time spent)
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our platform
  • Process event registrations and manage memberships
  • Display leaderboards and competition results
  • Personalize your experience and content recommendations
  • Send important updates, newsletters, and promotional communications
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Process subscriptions and manage your billing relationship
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraud
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Public Information

Certain information is publicly visible by default, including your username, profile picture, competition results, and public posts. You can adjust privacy settings for some of this information.

With Clubs and Event Organizers

When you join a club or register for an event, relevant information is shared with the club administrators or event organizers to facilitate your participation.

If an organizer or club officer uses a connected AI assistant to manage their event or club (see section 4), the assistant receives the participant information they can already see in Striker: names and usernames, entry and payment status, class, division and squad, and for clubs, membership role and type. It never receives participants' contact details, payment details or federation numbers.

Service Providers

We may share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, payment processing, and email delivery.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests from public authorities.

4. Connected AI Assistants

You can connect an AI assistant, such as Claude (provided by Anthropic) or ChatGPT (provided by OpenAI), to your Striker account, so that you can ask it about your training, matches and clubs and have it make changes for you. Nothing is connected unless you start the connection from the assistant and allow it on Striker's consent page. How to connect is described at striker.one/claude.

What You Choose

On the consent page you choose what the assistant may do:

  • See your Striker: your profile, guns and round counts, training log, matches, registrations, results and clubs. This is always included.
  • Log and sign up for you: log training sessions and gun maintenance, register you for events without an entry fee, and choose your squad.
  • Help run your events and clubs, offered only to organizers and club officers: manage the events and clubs you already manage in Striker.

The assistant asks you before each change it makes.

What the Assistant Receives

The assistant receives the Striker information it looks up in answer to your requests, within the permissions you chose, and never more than you can see in Striker yourself. It never receives your password, payment card details, Sportti-ID or other federation numbers, gun serial numbers, or other people's contact details, and no payment is ever made through it.

Where That Information Goes

What the assistant reads is sent to the company that provides the assistant, under your own agreement with that company, and is handled there according to that company's privacy policy and your settings with them. That company is not our service provider, and we do not control how it processes the information. Striker does not receive your conversations with the assistant.

What Striker Keeps

  • The connection: which assistant, the permissions you chose, and when it was created and last used. The sign-in tokens issued to the assistant are stored only in hashed form.
  • A log of what the assistant looked up or changed: the tool used, the time, the request with any free text shortened, and how much was returned, but not the answers themselves. You can see it under Settings → Connected apps.
  • Changes the assistant makes for you, such as a logged training session, are stored like any change you make in Striker.

The log, and connections that have ended, are deleted after 90 days. We use the log to show you your connection's activity, to keep the service secure, and to improve the connector, for example to see which requests fail.

Ending a Connection

You can disconnect an assistant at any time under Settings → Connected apps, which stops it at once. A connection also ends when you change or reset your password, sign out of all devices, or delete your account. Deleting your account removes your connections and their log.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We may retain certain information for longer periods as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as maintaining historical competition records.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access and receive a copy of your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time

8. Cookies

9. Children's Privacy

Our platform is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
